Delphine Software (now Delphine Software International, or DSI) is a premier French developer responsible for some of the most underrated adventure games ever for the PC. From the company's website:

"Delphine Software was established in 1988. It is headed by Paul de Senneville, its President and Paul Cuisset, its Vice-President. Paul Cuisset is also the inventor of the action games that have built Delphine Software's reputation. Moto Racer, Fade to Black, Flashback, Croisière pour un Cadavre (Cruise for The Corpse), Opération Stealth (James Bond: The Stealth Affair), Les Voyageurs du Temps (Future Wars) are top references for games aficionados.

A subsidiary, Adeline Software was then created in 1993 and quickly became one of the top names in the computer games business, especially after the release of LBA (Little Big Adventure), Time Commando and LBA2. In 1997, the Adeline team was sold to Sega and renamed No Cliche, one of the major game producers for the Japanese company which is currently developing its next machine: the DreamCast.

Since its creation, Delphine Sofware has sold more than 10 million copies of its games worldwide. Flashback alone accounts for 1.25 million copies sold, whereas Moto Racer sold above 4.8 million copies in May 1998. Delphine was awarded many trophies in the USA (including PC Gamer: "Best Arcade Game of the year", Playstation Magazine: "Best racing Game of the year"), in Japan, in Germany, in Spain, in Australia and in France."
